The teen years can prove
to be a challenging time for parents and teens
alike.
At One Way Inn we are available
to make this time easier by being a support
to parents and teens.
This support may take the
form of phone calls, visits upon request, accompanying
parents and/or teens to court, doctor/hospital
appointments, participation in funerals to name
a few.
Parents can also be a support
to One Way Inn staff and teens through prayer.
Also see our parents’
resource page for online help.
Occasionally parents
are needed to help at outreach events by driving
groups of teens or opening their homes for events
such as the Progressive Dinner. If you’re
available to drive, please let
us know.
Concerning transportation, our two major concerns
are safety (we personally do
not feel comfortable sending teens home alone
on the bus) and time (we should
not have to arrange rides late at night or feel
we should drive teens home when they have not
made the arrangements ahead of time.)
Please make sure your teen makes appropriate
arrangements for each activity they attend.
Once again, we thank you for your support for
each of us as we work with your teens. We desire
to be faithful to you, to your family and to
God over the course of this year.
If we can help you at any time or if you wish
to have us visit you in your home, please feel
free to contact
us for more information and support.
Parents are welcome to meet the staff during
Drop-in
on Thursdays from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m.
We warmly invite parents
to visit us on Sundays at Bendale
Bible Chapel.
