“My soccer career started in 1979 when I was in Grade 7. I was signed by Caps United to play in their Junior Soccer program. At age 17, I went on to play for their senior team and the same year was selected to represent Zimbabwe on their under 20 team.
I successfully played soccer from 1985 to 1995, during which time I represented Zimbabwe and Caps United at Club level on several occasions. In 1995 I retired from professional soccer.”
Recognizing his dedication and commitment, he was appointed Scouting Officer for Caps United in 1996; a position that brought more success stories and continued domination by Caps United as a major soccer power house in Zimbabwe.
Darlington scouted some soccer players who went on to represent Zimbabwe, some of whom are still playing today in South Africa and Belgium.
Darlington left the Club in January, 2001 but continues to provide support through consultation about technical and administrative issues.
Darlington’s passion to coach children will provide a very positive experience during this week of soccer camp.

Special notes:
Shin pads are recommended, but not required
Please bring your own bag lunch every day
Drop campers at field at 9:00 a.m. (location TBD)
Pick campers up at 2:00 p.m. at Bendale
Camp will continue rain or shine
